I didn’t come to fitness because I loved my body. I came to it because I didn’t. When I moved to the United States, I was a former family lawyer. Educated. Capable. Responsible.

And completely disconnected from my body. I didn’t feel confident. I didn’t feel attractive. I didn’t know how to create the body I dreamed of — no matter how disciplined I was. I tried diets. I tried workouts. I tried willpower. Nothing lasted. you don’t change a body by fighting it. You change it by learning how to live inside it. Everything shifted in 2016, when I hired my first coach. For the first time, I learned how to train properly. How to eat with structure instead of extremes. How to stay consistent without punishment. My body changed — but more importantly, my relationship with myself changed. I became strong. Grounded.

Before I became a coach, I was a Family Lawyer in Ukraine.

On paper, I was successful.

Respected. Intelligent. Polished.

But underneath the tailored suits and long, expensive dresses -

I was hiding.

Hiding my body.

Hiding my insecurity.

Hiding how disconnected I felt from myself.

I lived in constant stress. Always sick. Always tired.

High-functioning on the outside.

Deeply uncomfortable in my own skin.

Certain. I competed. I stepped on stage. Not to prove anything — but to prove to myself that I was capable of more. Then life tested me again.

Divorce happened. I found myself completely on my own, rebuilding my life from scratch in a new country. No safety net. No backup plan. Just my skills, my discipline, and my ability to move forward. I didn’t complain.

I didn’t fall into a victim story. I chose to build. I built and ran three businesses independently. I supported myself, my daughter, and my family back home in Ukraine. I stayed focused when it would have been easier to break. Becoming a mother changed my standards even more.
